suphew
I currently have 3 cleaner shrimp, doing well carrying eggs etc, all three spend most of their time on the bommy at one end of the tank. Would I be asking for trouble if I added a couple of fire shrimp?
chimera
not trouble, but a waste of time and money if you ask me. you'll hardly ever see them - most are far too shy.

I have two of them but thought they were long dead as I hadn't seen them in well over a year (have had them for 3+ years at least) but discovered them when I shifted tank. Only seen one of them once in the new tank. Might be OK in a small tank where they have less places to hide. You might get lucky and get a more public one otherwise you could tell your friends you have a very rare invisible shrimp. Steve
Brianemone
cleaners are heaps more fun imo
suphew
Good points thanks, I new they tended to hang out in caves, rock piles etc which is why I figured they might be ok since my other shrimp tend to stay away from that end of the tank. But think I'll save my $$ for something I might actually get to see!
