MRSkz
I am having the hardest time telling wich of my 6 females are dropping the babbies. I can narrow it down by half as I have 3 black and 3 blond females. If the babies are light I assume it's one of the blonds and if they are dark I assume they are one of the blacks. I have caught one of the blonds once having babbies, it was pure dumb luck. I was just looking at her and *pop* out comes a babby. Unfortunatly I never took specific notice of wich one it was and out of the 3 blonds there's only one that's very different from the others. I have heard that some of the females drop the bottom of there tails but I've never seen any of mine do this. I know WHEN babies are due I just don't know WHO is due. Any hints? cees
put them in seperate tanks/containers at the time they are about to give birth. They will produce all the babies in one session. If you keep the females all in the same tank than many of the fry will be eaten by the others. The assumption that blond produces light and black produces dark is not necessary true.
