jude
You might end up with pluppies or gaties ...............   They might stress them out a bit if they keep on chasing. Do they nip the guppies fins at all? Cheers Jude

shiuh
give him some more females to keep him company!
Caryl
Don't tell him to get more fish! Judging from another thread of his, he is already well overstocked with what he has now, with totally incompatible fish and the wrong sort for his small 2ft tank. Caper
Chakuna...read the forums here... you will learn lots! Hiding places for fish is important...do you have plants or ornaments that they can hide? Caryl...is it usual for the platies to chase other fish. I only have the one so far and he doesn't bother the others at all...but could this change when he goes to his new home where there will be guppies? Caryl
Yes platies can chase other fish. Usually it is the males who try to dominate everything else and show them who should be boss.

Chakuna
I have two ornaments a big shell and a rock like thing,I also have 8 plants (four are plastic the rest are reeds) and a couple are floating at the top.Yes that will change as guppies are smaller. Alan
Caryl, what happened to the palties. Chacuna, Four plastic plants don't qualify for four plants. Just four bits of debateable decorations that make a ollection point for algae. In MHO reeds are not submersibles either, more like bog plants. Could "perk" it up a bit more with a little imagination. Alan

livebearer_breeder
Ahhh, im a bit confused here, what exactly are you yelling about? and seriously dude, think about your atittude, everyone here is giving you good advice, yelling or getting angry at us for no apparent reason (that i can see) is not going to make you friends. Snowman
The only result from ignoring advice from people who have been there done that and getting agro will be dead fish, 2ft 2 1/2 ft either way still a small tank. A bigger tank gives more lee-way for fish stock and water quality.
