raeh1
Well after amost 2 weeks in the same spot the bubble tip moved. So I planned a sump. but found that the tank couldn't be drilled when even half full. Plus some major design faults. eg sounding like a water fall. For the last couple of days me and my wife turned off any power heads when he was near. As we had to make it till the weekend for me to make the tank anemone safe. In Saturday morning got up to find the tips of the anemone in a powerhead. aagrh..... He only lost about 5-6 tenticles but still he was not a happy chap. I spent all yesterday (as planned) making the tank anemone safe. Now thankes to Brianemones lend. I have two water intakes both defended heavily with foam ($1 a peace from payless plastics). Still no sump but all you can see in the tank is one pipe heading to the protein skimmer. And a seio powerhead with a big foam bib on it. The anemone stopped moving again within 2 hours, in a spot near the seio intake. But now no worries as there is no way he can get damaged by it. The way the tank now looks is amazing without four powerheads and wiring, the protein skimmer intakes and the fluval water intake pipes and surface skimmer. Even the heaters now hidden. I'll try to put a photo on this week. Once again thanks for your help Brianemone.

raeh1
Well my plan worked. Last night the anemone walked right over the seio powerhead. (that does 4400 litres per hour). And no damage the just kept moving onwards to his next destination. The foam approach worked a treat. So i'm now looking for another seio powerhead for the other end of my tank. Pics coming soon. raeh1
Its funny since the anemone was added the clown fish have been looking for a host. Well being percula clowns (bubble tip anemones not their natural host) they have decided on a rock at the tanks front that is covered in hair algae. (the only rock like that in the tank). I heard that anemones like bubble tips gain nutrients from fish p**oos is this true?
