Brianemone
What would be the key to keeping a fishless nano??? i have no problems with small tanks but i want a tank for my desk at work and i dont really want fish to worry about in the weekend i was just going to put in some mushrooms/zoa's and a LTA (just kidding) but if im not feeding the tank anything then there is no waste and no cycle, so do i just put in a tiny pinch of something now and again to feed the rock or do i not even need to do anything??? SteveA
You don't need to worry about fish over a weekend anyway. Feeding twice a week is plenty. Steve
Brianemone
more water quality related and size isssues plus i dont completely trust everyone at work to be mature enough not to put stuff in
lduncan
If you're only putting corals in, you'll have no problems with cycling - Corals love ammonia, it's not poisonous like it is to fish. No need to "feed" the rock, the less load the better. Layton
Brianemone
if things go well then i might even look at adding a montipora
lduncan
find a slow growing one, they can suck a lot of calcium out of a small tank. Layton
