boban_nz
CABOMBA CAROLINIANA HAVE YOU SEEN THIS AQUATIC WEED? Cabomba caroliniana was declared an Unwanted Organism under the Biosecurity Act 1993 on 12 September 2016. It is now illegal to breed, knowingly communicate, exhibit, multiply, propagate, release, or sell this unwanted organism. If you have cabomba in an aquarium, double bag the plants and dispose of these at your local landfill or with general household refuse. DO NOT dispose of plants near waterways. alanmin4304
Not a good choice of plant it seems. What is the nature of your proposed experiment? We may be able to help by suggesting a more suitable plant.
Stuart land
Hiya, one that bubbles presfusely from the stem when chopped in half! Elodea is the another variety that works but it's usually so inconsistent! Thanks Stuart
alanmin4304
Elodea Canadensis is the plant sold in pet shops as "oxygen weed and is permitted to be kept and sold. It is in most rivers and streams around this way.
