Rodica
Hi all,I have had advice from a vet that I should be hibernating my Hermanns. He has hibernated previously with the guy that breed him but that was in a warmer climate in nz.. I would prefer to hibernate him naturally outdoors if possible especially as that how he hibernated last year. The vet suggested a box and placing him in a cold part of the house, but we don't have a cold part in the house. Anyone out there hibernated a tortoise in Wellington? If so, how long for did you stop feeding him? and when I get the impression that people have already started the process in April. I am concerned that outside he'd wake up early especially with the warmer days we occasionally get in Wellington.
