Hi all,

Just bought my first tank (100L 61x36x50cm), aiming to keep freshwater tropical. 

I'm based on Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt. Browsing the clubs, it looks like Kapi-Mana Aquarium Club had an outing in November out my way. I'm not sure if those club members frequent the forums.

I've got a few questions, but I'll post them up in the beginner's corner.

    Don't hesitate to ask questions, and I think (I read this morning) the Kapi Mana club has a meeting this week in Tawa so not quite your way but still close-ish.

    Tawa is a touch of a trip, between cars at the minute too.

    Contact someone from the club (see link at top of page) and see if someone near can offer you a ride. I think they have some Wainuiomartians attending.

    Clubs are a great way to meet others with the same interests, pick brains, and get free or cheap stuff :smiley_wink_ani:

    HI. .. welcome. I'M a local to you and am in both welly clubs.. ask if u want to know anything. There are a fair few members around.
