im going up to auckland for the weekend and im wondering where the bird barn is and some other good shops up in auckland

Bird barn can be disappointing, but every once in a while they have a jewel or two!

It's on the Western motorway, take the lincoln rd off-ramp, turn left at the top, and it's about 2 or 3 km further, at an intersection and it's on the right. Hope that helps!

Jansens & Hollywood are good shops, check both of them out before buying anything as the price varies quite a bit. I just paid $17.95 for some small yo-yo loaches at Jansens and then saw them at hollywood for $15. If your after an Aqua One fish tank the only place to go is Pet Planet in Whangaparoa, cheapest by far. Both shops should have poly bins to keep your un intended newly acquired fishy ones in LOL
