Shelley
My mother went to Christchurch today...and on her way home called in and presented me with a darling female fighter! i had asked her to keep an eye out just so i knew where there was stock ....but wasn't quite ready for her until i get the next tank up and running (as i have to reseal the one she would have gone into....but anyway...she is now in our community tank...there is a male fighter in there too.......she bosses him around a bit (he is a wimp....but a lovely wimp.... i'm keeping a very close watch on them to make sure it doesn't all go to custard...the only other tank she could go in to be separate from the males is the fin nipper tank....dammit...) but when i am ready i will introduce her to another of our male fighters.....She is mostly blue/purple but has a shade of red through her too. Our male fighters are purple to aqua bluey-green, electric blue....and the most stunning of all rich red. Had a lovely day puddling with tanks......can't wait to get the sealer stuff now so i can use the other tank :-)
mistymu05
i kept my female in with known (and seen) fin nippers (BARBS) and because a female's fins are alot shorter than the average male she could be quite alrite in the other tank if u get worried about having the two of them together......i know that it only takes a matter of a few minutes when ur back is turned for the girl to turn the boys beautiful tail into a holey mess....... congrats on the new acquisition.....
