Bristle
I recently found a lovely piece of driftwood on the beach. I was wondering if it would be suitable for my freshwater tank for my bristle nose. Will the salt in the wood hurt him? If not what would be the process for cleaning it bearing in mind that it came from the beach. Thanks
Ira
I was wondering if it would be suitable for my freshwater tank for my bristle nose. Yes. Will the salt in the wood hurt him? No, there will be barely any salt in it, and salt is not toxic. what would be the process for cleaning it bearing in mind that it came from the beach. Hose off any sand and debris, throw it in the tank. And drop a rock on it to sink it until it stays sunk. Thanks YW.
kinnadian
Is it the light, very pale kind of driftwood? That stuff never gets water logged.
