I assume you are running an under gravel filter (UGF) if not I don't think it is too much of a worrie. If you are using a UGF then it is important you have plenty as this is what provides the surface area for bacteria to breed on. alot of people sugest not to disturb the lower layers of the gravel when doing a gravel vac though I don't know weather that is good advice or not Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
