Aquateur
Recently I was very surprised to see a "Dalmatian" Puffer for sale at my local vet clinic; even more surprising was its price, at $120 (I thought that such a unique species would go for far more). Out of interest, what is the minimum tank size for one of them and what are they fed? I apologise if a similar thread has been made before. Aquateur
Does nobody here own one?
Fmxmatt
They need a decent sized tank, they can grow to over a foot in size. I think the main thing is making sure they'll have enough room to turn around should they decide to puff up. They also need liverock to chew on to keep their teeth in check (otherwise you need to clip them) so having corals is pretty risky if you want a puffer. They'll eat anything that'll fit in their mouth, including other fish haha I've been considering a puffer for my new setup, but that option is running out quickly as I stock up. Might have to consider one of the smaller sharpnosed puffers How big was the puffer you saw?
