Adrienne
The Waikato Aquarium Society will be holding a meeting at the Waikato Commerce Club this Thursday 3rd July at 7.00pm. The aim of the meeting is to determine if there is still interest for the club to continue or go into recess. For the club to continue we need a strong turnout and also identify anyone keen to hold office in particular the president. After some emails and discussions on the WAS Facebook page its looking like we will be able to get the club up and running again with some former members keen to come back on board. I encourage current members and anyone else interested in joining to come along this Thursday. At stated before an outline agenda proposed is as follows • Welcome. • Background/Current state of club including financials, (How membership works, Affiliation to FNZAS, FNZAS Capitations, and Affiliation with Commerce club, etc) • Discussion on future of club. (What do we what to do? How to attract and retain Members) • Election of committee (If decided to continue). • Sales table and General discussion. The Waikato Commerce club is located at 197 Collingwood Street, Hamilton. For those who have never been at the club before the meeting will be in the conference room located inside at the back left of the club behind the restaurant area. The best way to get in is to enter the club up the stairs on the left of the building and head through the restaurant. Could you all please sign in as you enter and place down WAS meeting as the reason and Trevor as the person signing you in. I have attached a link for the clubs location below Again I encourage as many of you to attend. See you there. https://www.google.co.nz/maps/place/Wai ... 73ccad54ff
