nudge
Looks to be diatoms, it appears in newly cycled tanks and is harmless usually lasts a few weeks then stops growing. if its annoying you it wipes off pretty easily.

Oh ok, no it isn't annoying... i kind of like the look of it tbh! clean water, dirty rocks looks natural in my opinion! haha So no dangers for my new fishes? nudge
no worries mate hows the tank coming along, have ya peacocks settled in?
samuel90
no worries mate hows the tank coming along, have ya peacocks settled in? Yes they have! Lemon Jake gets chased a bit by luwanda (Alpha of the tank), and albino orange DB gets chased a bit by red DB (Second in charge), but no serious fights. As I am typing this I just watched my luwanda pick a beetle/fly from the surface! Clever thing! haha Also my Orange DB turned out to be a female, and has spat 7 fry from the albino orange DB. not sure to class as hybrid as DB are already line bred? lol
nudge
IMO they are hybrids, linebred is different to accidental crossbreeding, just my opinion glad to hear they are going well keep us posted, would love to see some new pics now they have settled in
camtang
+1 for me that is cross breeding and the fry would be hybrid.
