Luk3us
So I have two tanks, the first one has four tiger barbs and three danios, they all get along fine. The fish in this tank are about 8 months old, so they're rather big. The tiger barbs especially. :bounce: My other tank is about 160 liters and has four cherry barbs and four golden barbs. The fish were bought about three weeks ago and have settled in fine. They're still kinda small though, like 3.8cm maybe... My intention is to stick the fish from my first tank into the second one, but I'm worried the bigger fish will harass or maybe even eat my little fish. So would it be OK for me to put my older more mature fish in with the young ones? Or am I asking for trouble?
Sophia
They'll get along ok if the little fish won't fit in the bigger fishes mouths. The bigger ones might chase them about a bit anyway.
Adrienne
Tiger barbs are the more nippy of the three types you have. If you are going to combine them I would recommend you also get another couple of tiger barbs so they annoy each other and leave the other barbs alone. Luk3us
My tiger barbs seem quite tame to be honest maybe I got some nice pacifist fish? hehe. Time will tell I guess. Specifically next week.
