BK
Hi all, A couple of my Gromi's have something on there scales. They are Dwarf's, blue head and orange, they are in with small tetras, Cory's, Ram, Discus and a couple of Sunset & Cobalt Gromi's. They have raised scales that then look to have some white fluff in patches as well but only if you look hard. Its been like this for about a week maybe 2 by the time i noticed. They're apart from this in great shape, Feeding well/playing just like normal. Is this some kind of fungus? Could I use Aricaflanve. One of these guy's had cotton mouth about 4-3 weeks ago that I treated with Furan 2 (sp).

BK
From reading I now think this is Dropsy. Scales veiwed from top look like pine cone. Belly's large. white stringy poo's. What do people use for Dropsy. None of the other tankmates seem to have any problems. I've read that these fish commonly have this problem due to poor breeding. BK
And now i know were it came from. A Rummy Nose that I purchased, after a couple of days it's tummy bloated and died and then the Gromis got it. My better half will understand why I need another tank to put the Gromi's in now.
