Caper
Hi all, -29 gallon tank -6 red eye tetras -8 new neon tetras Used to have tiger barbs in with red eyes, that last one died a few months ago. When I had the tiger barbs, the red eyes used to be out and about more often (now mostly at feeding time). They do come out sometimes but spend more time hiding. I thought putting in the neons it would help them come out more but not so. Any suggestions on why they hide so much? I don't think I should add more fish, don't want to overstock. Thanks, Caper
Adrienne
You need more red eyes and more neons to encourage all of them to be out and about more. Adding more small fish will not overstock a tank of that size. You could even add fish that are more bold and brave without a problem. Caper
Thanks Adrienne I stick with the neons and the red eyes, how many of each would you suggest? What other fish could I put in? Caper
