Travis & Vicki Posted March 13, 2005 Report Share Posted March 13, 2005 The new cichlid tank is under way, it is being constructed in auckland and will be trucked to tauranga on friday( its going to be a long week) the dimentions are 6 ft - 3 ft - 3 ft, or for those of you who are better with metrics 1800-900-900 or close to it the stand was finished today, timber framing with a rimu facing,when it went inside it looked like a single bed! got a couple of photos but will have to wait to post them it is going to look awesome Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Travis & Vicki Posted March 20, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 20, 2005 after a number of very stressful sleepless nights, the tank is in the house and the cichlids have a new home, they had to learn a few new skills, like how to swim, decompression stops before hitting the surface ( not sure if their using padi or ssi tables). i was expecting a dose of the cichlid sulks but they all seem to be happy, although a little lost. going from a 380ltr tank to a 1480ltr tank is a bit of a change for them. there has been no teritory wars at this stage, but its early days yet. any suggestions for additions are welcomed Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
