Billaney
Hi I'm looking at setting up a new cichlid tank and have got some nice rocks and wood etc and want to build some caves etc for them before any water is added, I was wondering what type of silicone to use to fix the rocks together ? is there something special or will any waterproof silicone do ? I'm thinking also about putting some barbs in the same tank , is this ok or would they not get on ? Sorry about all the questions but a real newbie with cichlids Thanks
Brianemone
i would use a cement of some type rather than silicon as it would give a better result, however normal silicon that you use for aquarium glass joinery would be fine
