Modern Angl
Well, the redspot plec I got from Animates on Sat has kicked the bucket after a total of 2 days. He had went into an established tank and i've had no probs with any of the other fish in there. He was looking a bit stressed once he got him home, and I was wondering if he had whitespot. When I fished him out the tank, he had what looks like a semi transparent white patch on his back, in front of his dorsal fin,. picture below. I'm now concerned that whatever killed him will now affect the other fish in the tank, especially the 2 Bristlenose. Any ideas on what killed him would be appreciated. (assuming you meant salinity ) water parameters are ph 7 Ammonia 0.6mg/L Nitrite 0.1mg/L Nitrate 5mg/L Phosphate 0 mg/L Feeding was flake food and one spirulina disk a day, not fed brine shrimp to them since it set the danio's off....
