Jammos
my silly clown loaches have got it again. What i have done so far is : raised the temp by 2deg, added tonic salt (1 tablespoon/20 litres), Green malichite (1ml/20Litres), and 5% formula(1ml /40litres). And they still have it (if not worse)after 3 days! I don't know what has brought it on as noone is being chased and there are way too many hiding places! I scared i'm going to loose more again. Please help.
HummingBird
Use Copper Sulfate instead of Machalite. IMO it's way better. When my four clowns got white spot none of them died of it (but three of them died from jumping out of their containers - live and learn I guess) and I treated them with that. It's commonly sold as a snail killer.
Jammos
would it be fine even if i have dosed the tank with the others or should I do a water change first?
HummingBird
Do a partial water change first, yes.
