blueether
I'm stripping down one of my 2ft tanks that is lightly planted and am going to make a stream tank for my Gastromyzon scitulus. I was planning to just have a few plants at the end with the least flow but most of the plants have some staghorn on them. What is the best way to get rid of this algae off the plants? zeebee
Are they hardy? If so a bleach dip will work. 1part bleach 2part water
Sophia
if the parameters of the tank are going to change it won't necessarily survive in the new location. otherwise, best thing for staghorn is a harpoon. or Excel. I have tried bleach on plants I thought were hardy and it turned out that they weren't
