Joe
This is very weird. I noticed that my male tri had some funny black blotches and streaks through his tail the other day. However each day they seem to change position and split up into smaller spots/flecks or join into a large group and last I saw them they were a couple of blotches on his head. He's been eating and looks fine otherwise. Anyone have any idea of what this could be and how to treat it? Also this is real, I'm not imagining it. I'll try and get some pics. - Joe
Sophia
maybe it's a breeding or camoflage behaviour
Joe
No it's not I have read heaps and know enough about Apistos to know that trifasciata don't do such a bizzare thing. I know that they can become darker and change their colours, but they have no pigment on the tail and they don't have large, very dark spots on the head that are more to one side and change position every now and then. Joe
I'm not posting the photos because the image resizing hasn't been fixed yet. However I'm not really worried - I'm just glad that the forum is up and running again. And thanks again to those who fixed it Here's the links to the photos. http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/7528/270512041.jpg http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/641/270512042.jpg http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/8519/270512043.jpg
