fish_fingers
How is it possible for someone to use the Buy Now function on Trade Me on the 14th of May when they have not logged in since the 12 of May? Ok, not a riddle but curious all the same. Any ideas?
si_sphinx
Maybe the system hasn't updated to show when they were last on? idk
rcon021
I don't know if this has happened to anyone but i have had auto bids and have won the auction with my autobid, even though i would have been leading the auction till finish.... So when you look at the bid history i would have bid over my older bid, therefore the last two bids will be mine!!!

si_sphinx
That happens when someone bids the exact same amount as your total auto bid. But because you bid first you win the bid and the other persons bid does not count/show. if that makes sense.
fish_fingers
Oh the wonders of "auto-bid", unfortunately this was not the case with my experience and have yet to hear from the winner.
fish_fingers
The reason for this issue is because the person was using a remote device, Trade Me does not recognise that they have logged in and so will not update that on the users profile. They are looking to resolve this technical issue. Good to know.
