nudge
Has anyone got a good dosing regime for droncit. I will be treating a couple of africans and 1 treatment that has been suggested is 7.5 tab (50mg tabs) for 70L leave for 48hrs then do 50% w/c leave for 7 days then redose with 7.5tab and w/c after 48 hrs. So 2 treatments over 9 days. This seems like a lot of meds for a small tank, i think it works out to be around 5mg/liter?
nudge
also should i mix the prazi into the food for the 9 days as well or is this an overkill
Bilbo
I think 2mg/l is about right so 1 tab of 50mg per 25 litres. I think it lasts 3 - 5 days from memory. I will double check later if no one else answers and corrects me.

nudge
yeah i saw that, i have a vet friend who has some droncit and i get a bit more for the same price, should i treat tthe food while medicating the tank to?
Sophia
I used Panacur which is the same thing in a liquid form, I soaked the food in it and then dumped the solution in the tank too. Whoever ate got a better dose than those that didn't.
