Zahn
Is it a bad idea to put Texas cichlids in with my Malawis (electric yellows, zebras, eye biters)? I know they come from different places but I keep the conditions of both tanks the same so can't see any harm keeping them in the same tank. Please let me know if this is a bad idea. si_sphinx
Assuming you are talking about a texas jaguar... When I had mine with my african cichlids he ate them all when he got big enough to fit them in his mouth. Lesson learnt.
David R
A texas jaguar??? :-? A large male texas cichlid (H. carpintis) would certainly spell trouble for smaller african cichlids, and may (depending on the individual and the tank size) be intolerant of the larger ones too.
