phrog
Ok guys...here it is. My BTS enclosure I've been working on for a little while now. I have built everything myself incl wiring and background and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Here's the details: Size: 1200x600x600mm Material: Top, back and sides - 18mm 7ply. Front - Two panes of 5mm glass Lighting/Heating: 1x 60mm flourescent tube light for uvb 5.0 tube. 2x spot bulb fixtures, one with 100w basking spot and the other, a thermostat controlled 100w moonlight lamp for better temp regulation. Substrate: NON-pine Aspen shavings. Decor: Cow bones and goat bones and a cruddy wooden box lol. He's in his hide at the moment but he's been roaming like a bauwss already. redrachie
Looks awesome! I'm sure your bts will love it. Nice background! I'm currently making a background for my enclosure at the mo.
phrog
Cheers man. Yeah the background is simply polystyrene cemented over and highlighted with paint (dont worry, I have researched paint and cement that is able to be used safely in reptile enclosures). I have actually meshed over the vents and the gap at the top because he can squeeze through gaps in the vents and I also found him once when I got home, chilling on top of the enclosure lol. Didn't know BTSs could climb that well . I mean that is a vertical rockface that he scaled
