amtiskaw
Is Kanuka or Manuka OK to use in an aquarium? I'm looking for suitable wood for long, finger width branches for a planted tropical tank. Edit: Did a search on this site - turns out it's fine, and you even get a free low-dose of Melafix from the tea tree oil
henward
i use ti tree all the time. good thing bout them is that they will sink rapidly but they do emit LOTS of resin. i would suggest, soak it till it sinks. Then leve it in the sun to scorch, and then soak it again. This has worked well for me but the fish love them, they look nice with a good lighter colour than the malaysian hardwood you get in the fish shops. branches also sinkquickly
