zeebee
Hey there, Just bought a kribensis and he has a tiny raised grey spot on him. Doesn't look cotton wool like or like any sort of parasite... Any thoughts?
Caryl
Acne? One small spot I would not worry about. It could be a raised scale if he has bumped against something, or slight damage when caught. White spot looks like the fish has been sprinkled in salt. It could be the start of something bigger - like a tumour or something.
zeebee
Thanks for that will keep an eye on it. Also how do you know the difference between a nipped fin and fin rot?
Squirt
Nipped fins normally lead to fin rot. Fin rot usually is white on the edges of the fin, whereas nipped fins normally are not.
