zuri08
i have no background on my tank that i just recently got.thanks to gill for the tank.i have tried putting on a background just a blue one but is super dark is this because of the depth or width maybe i have made up a poly background but i know it will turn out like crap so any suggestions have always had black backgrounds.maybe its my lighting to 3 foot lights one marine blue aqua one and a dymax tropical 30 watts any comments will be great
Sophia
if you like the shade of blue on my little tank background is it's Dulux 'Selwyn'. Gets navy-ish and like the forum blue in the corners - is only bright where the light hits.

Squirt
I've seen a stick on background at the LFS with a rock like background, like stacked slate. Not sure but it probably wasn't 600 high.
Sophia
I reckon those stacked slate and rock type background sheets could be cut to fit each other so you could make a bigger one if you had a longer piece.
