The first brood they ate, second brood has 6 survivours still in tank nearly 5mm big. they have just laided again. What do i do with the 6 from the last batch of eggs?? You obviously wanted to breed them or you would not have purchased a pair therefore I assume you planned at the time of purchase and have some spare tanks so you can grow the young on. Bilbo Posted December 2, 2011 Report Share Posted December 2, 2011 I don't think "laided" is a word. Are they in a breeding tank or a mixed / community tank? Its to late now to really do anything because if you remove the eggs the parents will attack each other or the juveniles. If you remove the juveniles then they will likely eat the eggs. The only option is to remove both the eggs and the juveniles into separate tanks and then depending on the size of your breeding tank you may need to separate the parents for a few days to allow them to cool off as well.
