chris b
Hi i have just brought some mts (20) and ramshorn(50) snails for my clown loach tank and was wondering if anyone has mts in there tanks with clowns? I was hoping the mts will have time to build a population while the ramshorns were getting eaten. Im not to worried if they all get eaten (as thats what they are all brought for) but i was hoping the mts would still survive and the clowns would pick the odd one off to keep them happy and keep the snail population in check any advice would be great cheers chris
Squirt
Probably not. They will most likely eat all the snails in a day it two. If you want a constant supply of snails, try breeding them in a separate tank. HTH
Adrienne
My tank was crawling with MTS as in the whole surface of the substrate had a roll on and moved constantly. It took very little time for the clown loaches to eat every single one of them.
