henward
IN this thread, i have also added pictures of the arowana under a red tanning light and arcadia tanning light. Last update, the aro was about 35cm, measured today it is 39 to 40cms. Red aro pictures. May 2011, Jul 2011, sep 2011 Other side Comparison in order of apperance: 18 sep 2011 Normal light, Chinese made tanning light, ARcadia tanning light. Please note that the red has not had any tanning at all, i just placed the tanning lights out of curiosity of seeing the difference, tanning will commence End of this year or early next year. other side:

henward
haha, y eah, trying! still early days. will start tanning soon. will take one more pre tanning pics in couple months, and hopefully put on more size and then will start tanning for a good 3 to 4 months and take pics again, under white light and tanning lights. see how it goes. the third set of pics, the colour hasnt change much its more so the orange has spread through more of the scales and more scales have started to turn orange, the cheeks are definitely spreading more. ally07
of course:D fed in the morning and waited for water to clear then took pics:D haha how did you guess? Elementary, my dear Henward! :smln: 1. The pictures are nearly particle free (which is rare, with your feeding regime lol!) 2. You've already had some bad photos because of the food particles, didn't expect you to repeat the same mistake... Brutus is looking good - he must be the most pampered fish on this forum lol.
