nudge
I am having a few aggression issues in my 5ft all male peacock/hap tank. I don't really want to add more peacocks and i don't think my tank is big enough to house anymore haps. Am thinking of getting a small coclony of yellow labs to bring the stocking level up abit as i only have 11 fish in the tank. I was thinking about 6 to 7 fish. what do you guys think, also can we get or do we have acei in the country?
ryanjury
Acei no sorry But yellows would be great, even add upto 10 to break things up.. Another option would be tropheops they are another nice fish (blue males bright yellow/orange females) that are here and stay relatively small and not that aggressive, mine are just looking like breeding
smidey
i'd throw in some yellows, i don't know if that will reduce aggression but it will still look good if not
nudge
what are the chances of them crossbreeding with the haps and peacocks?
smidey
very slim if any IMO
ryanjury
what are the chances of them crossbreeding with the haps and peacocks? There is always a chance but as Smidey has said in this setup it is very slim if it did occur then the fry would be pretty munted and obviously not yellows..
