reptilez Posted August 21, 2011 Report Share Posted August 21, 2011 Hi...i am wondering how high above the tank should i position the light....it is a metal halide 150w and my tank dimensions are 90 x 44 x 33cm (bdh) the lights that the fitting came with are extremelly white so i thought i will use the knes it came with so it is 33 cm high ...help would be appreciated... thanks in advance Matthew Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Would put it closer for marine use but not much. For your tank I'd position it so that the spread just touches the edges of the bottom of the tank and go from there.
