Vervo
Is our water to soft for our community tank? Tank kH = 3drop x 10 = 30ppm x 0.056 = 1.68 degrees Tank gH = 3drop x 20 = 60ppm x 0.056 = 3.36 degrees Tank PH = 6.4 Fish: Discus, Siamese alge eaters, Cardinal tetras, Rummy Nose tetras, Blue/Gold Ram If so, should i buy some crushed oyster shell to put in my filter? Theres some cheap on trade me.
GZ_Loach
pH is fine, i wouldn't have a glue about the gh & kh as i don't bother measuring mine.

Luke*
it's perfect. all those fish prefer a low pH like yours. and the hardness works like a buffer; the higher it is the more stable your pH will be. it's not 0 or 1 so it will hold fairly constant. baking soda will bring it up but you don't need to add it. worst case scenario if you were running CO2 and had it heavily stocked the pH potentially could crash
