Hi Guys, i currently have a 160l tank with fith the following fish

2 x Nimbochromus Venustus (4-5")

2 x Geophagus Brasiliensis (2.5-3")

1 x Large Common Pleco (7")

A heap of baby BN's and 2 random black widow tetras

Im Getting a new tank - Aqua One AR980t (245l) and want to stock it with 12 Demasoni and 5 or so Electric Yellows along with the current fish i have (will get rid of the Black Widows).

Would this mix/qty be ok for my new tank? Any advice/opinions appreciated :)

The fish you have are already more than enough for the 245L tank IMO, the brasiliensis pair will both get close to a foot each and the common plec will get massive.

Dems and yellows will go nicely in your new tank, just get rid of your current fish...

My choice would be selling the giraffes/geos once they outgrow your new tank too. Also really bad numbers of fish (2) for aggression etc as they mature.. Where in the country are you?

I would go less yellows than dems because the yellows get bigger maybe 8 to 12 dems would be good.

I got them through a friend who bought them privatly.. They are very healthy and colourful fish so possibly came from you indirectly :P cool, thanks for the info guys. Ryan, i see you sell and ship Dems, possibly yellows? will you have a small colony for me in about a months time? PM me if you like :D
