TM
greetings all, hope everyone had a good holiday break. My current tank (550ltr) has been running know for about 2 years? It is sitting on a wooden floor. The floor dosen't like this very much and has asked me to move it (floor boards starting to sag and rot). There is really only one other place that this tank could go. The tank size that i will have is 1070 x 770high x 915deep. (750ltr) The sump will be about 250ltr (1000 x 450 x 550?) Total system size about 1000ltr I will be placing this tank between the fire place (no it won't get to hot) and two other walls. The only thing i have done so far is the tank and stand. At the moment i am looking at water flow. I am going to start with closed loops either 2 or 4. ANY THOUGHTS ON WHERE TO PLACE THESE? I was thinking two at the bottom corners at the back and two at the top corners at the front. I have a heap of snap lock tubing that i will use so i can put the flow right where i want it. SIZE PUMPS? how about to big eheim pumps running the four outlets? Skimmer has yet to be decided, any ideas (yes deltec are cool any other types people have had success with) Euroreef 8-2 or ap850???????????? Photos yes as soon as i learn how to use a camera!!!!!!!! lduncan
I'd look at something like the Sequence Reef Flo pumps from http://www.reefonline.com.au for the closed loop. Good value, and reasonably efficient power usage. Layton
