fishgirl53 Posted March 19, 2011 Report Share Posted March 19, 2011 Hi I have a 450ltr tank 1.50 long 55 high 50 wide I have in there 8 Kribs 6 rainbow Boesemani 6 Electric Yellows and 1 large pleco I know it is a bit of a strange mix they are all fry except for the pleco hoping they will all grow up together and get along am I able to fit any more in my tank or should I leave it at that I have a few rocks at the back and a few plants thank you Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
smidey Posted March 19, 2011 Report Share Posted March 19, 2011 that is a good sized tank which will give you plenty of flexibility of numbers for stocking. what conditions including food, temp & ph do the kribs, rainbow boesemani & pleco require? are they similar to the africans & if they aren't the same are any of these your favourite which would stay if any of the others had to go? what can happen is fish will survive in conditions not ideal for them but depending on how far the setup is from what they need will determine how well or how long they survive. if the conditions are quite far from what for what they require they may die over a long period of time or have a lot of health issues. africans can be quite susceptible to bloating if they aren't feed the right foods so it is very important the setup is correct.
