tabrat Posted March 2, 2011 Report Share Posted March 2, 2011 PH tests- fresh water solution tests i have just done read 7.6, and high range 7.4 (ques why is 7.4 in high range). tank temp is 28c. do we have to get the PH level to 7.0 which has been mentioned to us by they local vet. tabrat Posted March 2, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 2, 2011 tetras of some sort,,have been told these are the easiest sort fish to start with,, maybe emperor tetras,, i have been to some charts that show PH temp DH breeding etc,, can you go off this sort of chart, are we being fare to carefull??..Cheers what type of fish are you keeping in the tank? BikBok Posted March 3, 2011 Report Share Posted March 3, 2011 pH 7.0 seems to be pH that a lot of tropcial fish are happy with but for most community tanks it doesn't matter if it's a little below or above as long as it's stable.
