arcanine Posted February 27, 2011 Report Share Posted February 27, 2011 i have just got given a sick oranda, it was going to get the chop &c:ry so i said id take it and give it a go first. it appears to have swim bladder? hardly swimming and if it does very uncontrolled, laying on its side most of the time. the lady said she has tried peas and its done nothing. is it swim bladder? what else can i do to treat it? is it something else? do fish live if they get it or am i wasting my time? If it looks like all the scales (including those on top) are sticking out like a pinecone, then it is dropsy and the fish is doomed.
