arcanine
these are my first babies to hatch from eggs other than goldfish :happy2: , they are angelfish and were layed 6 days ago, so at the moment they have their egg sacs and are wiggling away. they were taken off the parents as they are useless so im not really sure what to do. i realise alot wont survive as i only have liquid fry food for them not live. is there anything i should be doing? from today on i will be doing daily water changes of about 20%. they were layed on the filter so i transfered that to another tank on day 1 and half of the batch are still clinging to it even though there are "mouldy/furry" unfertilized eggs on it. is this ok? :dunno: the rest are on the ground. i dont really know what im doing so these little guys unfortunately are my "guinea pigs"
MarkLB
Hi. I haven't bred Angels but it sounds as if you're on the right track so far. You could try to find a Microworm culture, either on here or from TM, to add some live food. And it may be an idea to get a Brineshrimp hatchery going soon if you can. Live food is the best. arcanine
babies are coming up two weeks and going strong (and very cute!) how long till they are not so delicate?
Caryl
I found the hardest time was at about 28 days :-? I think because I switched to too large a fish food and they died just before I could register them in the breeding scheme :tears:
arcanine
hmmm they seem to be doing ok on the liquid fry food although it never really lands near them  , they are all free swimming now and going against the current of the bubbles. i think ill just keep them on the liquid food till they are much bigger :dunno:
