supasi
Not sure, At first I thought it was Sagittaria but the shape of leaf is different. Can you give a bit more info as to its location. Was it near water? in the water? Do you have any other photos?
Sam Newman
Hi Supasi. Yes it was near the water level in a swamp. There is some growing in the mud floating on the water. I can take a photo tomorrow. Sory about the photo quality. They are taken from my phone. Thanks for the help. I am on a mission to find out wich are the native plants in the wetland I am looking after.

supasi
Look to see if you can see any flowers or flower stems. This will make easier to ID. I am stumped.
Sam Newman
:dunno: OK. I will have a good look for flower stems tomorrow. From memmory, I don't think it flowers until late summer. Dont think its in the Dock family. It doesn't have a large enough taproot.
