ryanjury
Sounds like a good start, electric yellows aren't that fussy but best to keep PH above 7 and water relatively hard. What size tank are you putting them in? And are you planning on putting anything with them or a species tank?
Gill
Thanks ,the tank is only 3ft holds around 200L so only going to put in a few, thought i would keep to Electric yellows. It was a community tank but i upgraded and have a 4ft for that now. Its just a tank sitting idle and i want to do something with it. I have sand for the substrate and have rocks to add etc.... ryanjury
Sweet that's a good sized 3ft, it is probably big enough for you to do demasoni as well if you liked them. Just chuck some coral/limestone rocks in and things should stay pretty stable.
Caryl
My electric yellows lived and bred happily in a pH of 7.
