Wazza
Moved my big boy today, thanks Bill for the advice it worked! Coached him into a pipe net covering one end hand the other, and the bugger bit me, OK no teeth but held on like no one business. He is 33.5cm long and 7cm in diameter at his widest part, not including fins. Well you can see him here. I think he is a he!
dan_from_nz
I always grab mine when i need to move him, they have a solid bit just behind their eyes you just use you thumb and forefinger then with your other hand pick him up from the underside back half of his body, it saves any risk of their fins spines getting tangled in nets but congrats obviously your way worked also

Caryl
If you had picked him up as I suggested he wouldn't have been able to bite you
