Allister_B
Recently bought 4 new tadpoles to add to my existing 2 frogs and nine minnows in a terrarium, put them in and discovered that the minnows had bred and there are heaps of tiny fry and some bigger, must have been from more than one spawn. too many to count tho and heaps of ox weed and java moss in the water makes it hard. Does anyone no if the tadpoles will eat the fry? i assume they would.

Black Sabbath
Well fed adult Minnows will not eat all the fry aslong as sufficient cover is given which is sounds like there is. But tadpoles will eat anything that fits in there mouth
danval
They will get them before they are free swimming but i doubt they will once free swimming. I have found duckweed to be great cover for them.
