Joutei
Hey guys , just saw today that one of my neon tetras has a big white spot on him. Could it be white spot disease , and if so how could i treat it and does it risk my other fish's health . I have 10 neons , 5 corydoras and 2 blue rams. MarkLB
Hi Joutei. How big is big? Whitespot looks like the fish has grains of salt on it. Search 'Whitespot' on this site or Google it, there's heaps of info available.
Joutei
hi its the size of a vivid marker, could be a tiny bit bigger. its only one dot and only on one of my tetras. Cheers
MarkLB
Can you get a pic? The best thing you can do right now without any kind of diagnosis is to keep the water clean. Salt can help with a number of things and won't do any harm. A search of this site will give you the dosage, I can't remember right now. alanmin4304
Sounds like it is not whitespot but hard to tell without a picture.
