Insect Direct
spike has some nice colour for a youngin. very hard to sex blue tongues. once mature the males drop sperm plugs (looks like snot) every now and then, when going toilet or just excited lol. otherwise just have to wait until they try mate and see what happens. phoenix44
See I would have guessed female on the left, male on the right. Something to do with the width of the base of the tail. Not sure if that is a tried and tested method as opposed to one that occasionally gets it right. Here is Cobalt and Phoenix naawww... you shouldn't have

Insect Direct
Phoenix should be flattered  Yeah id say same thing about sex Phoenix. But then i had two which looked very similar, the wider one turned out to be male :-? Almost seems to be that any shape/size can be any sex with the skinks. phoenix44
They can, or an X-Ray as the males have testicles and females have ovaries. Then you can have a simple DNA test done too.
