newaqua
Hello All. Wondering if anyone has some good suggestions of freshwater, tropical eels? Im after a type that doesnt grow to big - but am finding it hard to come accross anything at the moment. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Mike. Nymox
I would think they would all be on the larger side as far as aquarium fish go, the half banded is said to be the smallest variety as far as spiny eels go, but that still gets around the 15 cm mark. I would think about some kuhli loaches they stay small, have similar habits, easier to feed and you can have a school.

David R
And if you want to be really picky none of them are actually eels, just long fish....
